Update Alice Barton Case

on September 2nd, 2010

Another interesting comment about the case of Alice Barton has appeared online. It can be found here

The writer of this second comment raises good points. Police will have to look into the following matters: where did Aimee’s grandparents exactly live, which pub did the grandfather frequent and how did he get there after work. Did he have any means of transportation going from the pub back home, did anyone ever saw him walking along the road covered in blood, was he known to frequent prostitutes and most importantly can anyone provide proof of possible violent behaviour?

The case of Alice Barton, killed in 1955, is a sad one. Her body was found in Woodchurch, Birkenhead, UK, but her murderer has never been caught. To this date the case remains open and unsolved.

Maybe the comments online will lead police to new avenues but Vidocq is sceptical. Both comments have emotion rather than logic as foundation. As I said before, we will be watching closely. This case is a riddle and I am afraid we are not nearly solving it!

To be continued…
