Tragedy has struck the family of Brandon Meredith. Very early this morning, Brandon was found dead at his sister’s home. Brandon Meredith was Trisha’s brother whose cold case can be found here on DCC. The cause of Brandon’s death is still unknown and details will follow later.
Trisha’s case is not forgotten. During his life, Brandon made it is goal to make sure nobody would stop looking for his sister’s killer. And we will not, Brandon.
Trisha was only 19 years old when she died. Just two weeks after she left her mom’s home and moved into her very first apartment, she was murdered. Twenty-four times stabbed and with her throat cut, Trisha died in broad day light inside the laundry of her apartment complex. Her killer is possibly someone she knew since the multiple stabbing does point to a very personalized attack. Also, the laundry room though enclosed, was quiet and someone had to know that not many people would be around.
