    Lot’s of unanswered questions regarding this sad sad case. But was wondering if anyone has contacted Inside Edition or Bill O’Reily or even Joey Loy, the host reporter that interviewed Mac 20 years ago. I suggest a follow up report to let the public know what is happening in Alaska to an innocent man behind bars. Even the forensic scientist, Raymond Davis, says there is no case. Why is it taking so long for Mac to get a retrial? Why was this “dropped” never to be heard of for 20 years? Someone dropped the ball and should continue reporting the misjustice happening in Alaska. Please publish contacts for all the above people so we can write them and request a new interview. I would be very grateful.

    Thank you, Trudie Dvorak

    @Trudie,

    I spent two and half days (non stop) calling Inside edition and getting the run around in an attempt to get the full copies of the two shows they did on Mac’s case. In the end it turns out no one can get the full tapes. While I was talking to all the various people I was transferred to I asked about having them come up and do a follow up. They seemed even less interested than the Alaska courts. Of course these were not producers merely their underlings but I did ask several of them if someone could return a call to me about this. All agreed yet not a single call. That was well over a year ago.

    I do think there is a shot at getting one of the many shows on Investigation Discovery to do a new show, but I am having a difficult time figuring out how to get to those people who make these decisions. All I have found is this:

    What is Discovery Communications policy on the submission of program ideas?
    We are able to accept proposals only from established production companies. If you are an individual with a program idea or are interested in being talent on a program, you should do your own research on production companies and contact them. If you are a producer and wish to submit a program, please visit: http://submissions.discovery.com.

    That address takes you to a page where you must have a producer’s sign in and password.

    It is all very frustrating!
