Update Trey Noah Case

on April 24th, 2010

Details from law enforcement officials are sketchy about the body found at an undisclosed location in eastern Gillespie County. Sheriff Buddy Mills reported that the deceased male has been identified by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office as Trey Allen Noah, 20, of Kendall County, Texas.

Noah had been reported missing in November 2009, from Kendall County, said Mills who added that circumstances and cause of death are still under investigation. Gillespie County Sheriff Buddy Mills would only confirm that a ranch hand found Noah, fully clothed. “All I can say is that it (the body) had been there for a while,” he said. Noah was last seen Nov. 29 and his parents reported him missing Dec. 17, 2009. See my previous post about Trey Noah.

Investigators from sheriff’s offices in Gillespie, Blanco, and Kendall counties are still working on the case, the local sheriff explained, adding that all questions concerning the case should be directed to him. Read the original post here.

DCC wishes to express its deepest sympathy to the Noah family.

I substitute teach at the Blanco High School in Blanco Texas. I have had the priveledge to have Trey, Shelby and Brandon in several of my classes. I found all 3 young men to be polite, courteous, and helpful. My heart is broken to think that two of these boys could have done this deed. My prayers are with them, and their parents.

    Dear Ms Davidson,

It is very sad indeed when things like this happen to people you know in a completely different setting.

Something somehow has set off a horrible event that lead to violence. We do not have all the details yet. Trey’s autopsy results are not public yet and also, police have not indicated yet how they knew Shelby and Brandon murdered Trey. We must be patient and wait for more information.

The knowledge that these three young men were in the same school must be traumatic for the students, faculty and staff. My thoughts are with the families of everyone involved.

Thank you very much for visiting DCC and for taking the time to comment. I appreciate readers’ insight very much. I wish you well, Vidocq

    @ Vidocq:
I hope the boys conscious got the best of them and they turned themselves in….who knows. Shelby is Trey’s cousin…their mothers work together everyday in Shelby’s mother’s florist business. I’m sure they are just devastated. Anyway…thanks for letting me post. I just wanted people to know that these were not problem students or problem boys. To say our little hamlet is overwhelmed is a very understated word. We are such a small town, that everyone knows everyone, including all the “everyone’s” you are related to!!!

You are very welcome. Everyone can post their comments on DCC. The only ones that get filtered are of course, the offensive ones and the ones that are for my eyes only. I welcome comments, compliments and criticism!

I thank you for placing these boys in a different light. So far, there is little known about the autopsy and why the police charged they with murder so speculation and preconceived notions galore! I say we wait till we know more!

I would appreciate it if you could extend our sympathy to all families involved. Thank you again for checking back in. Please fell free to update us on any case you find here on DCC.

    Sincerely, Vidocq
