It makes me wonder if Mr. B is somehow involved in all of this as well. Sometimes the most credible of witness aren’t so credible after all. There isn’t a day that goes by we don’t hear of someone doing something horrific and those that knew that person claiming what a great person they thought they were.Although Jane appears to have been a very bright and thoughtful child, she was still a child and as such susceptible to adult authority figures. If whoever took them that day said they were there to get the kids because mom and dad were called away, in an accident, or otherwise tied up and offered what a child may consider as proof of that situation then more than likely the kids would have gone willingly (remember this was 1966 and kids didn’t question adults then). So it may well appear the kids were acquainted with this person when he fact they just thought he was someone daddy works with who is taking them to have fun until the parents get back. Just thoughts………..And how is it the kids were seen alone and happy by the postman after they had been seen with this adult? That seems odd at best. The mere fact that he was familiar with the family seems weak as a reason to trust his word. Was Mr. B or the postman ever investigated. It seems appearances and automatic trust are at best a shoddy way to investigate.

<span

Couple of months later all the scumbags of what was known as the ATM gang died mysteriously hanged and with severe damage while in jail. Those at least won't be harming anybody else and had what they deserved before suffering an agonizing death... I hope.

<span
