Arrest in Trey Noah case!
Murder charges have been filed against two acquaintances of Trey Noah who vanished in November 2009 and whose remains were found five months later in Gillespie County, Texas.
Gillespie County Sheriff Buddy Mills said Shelby C. Moore, 19, of Kendalia was arrested late Thursday at the Sheriff’s Office in Fredericksburg, and that Brandon L. Harber, 19, was arrested early Friday in Blanco, where Harber lives.
Mills said the suspects knew Trey Noah, 20, and a press release says they were arrested in conjunction with his “disappearance and murder.”
However, the sheriff wouldn’t discuss when and where the slaying occurred, or whether a possible motive for the crime was known. Mills also wouldn’t comment on how authorities suspect Noah was killed, noting he is still awaiting the autopsy report.
Trey Noah vanished from his Kendalia home Nov. 29 and was reported missing by his parents Dec. 17, 2009. His clothed remains were found in late April 2010 on a ranch in eastern Gillespie County.
Asked if there were other suspects in the murder, Mills said, “We’re still investigating that. So far, these are the only two we’ve arrested.”
