It is really nonsense that De Telegraaf helped the police with this. I’m sure the police will fully disagree with that sort of help. For instance, they published a letter from Willeke last year and said that it was new. But it was the same letter that Dagblad van het Noorden, the biggest newspaper in this part of the country, published in 2004… De Telegraaf said last summer that police soon will start a new investigation because of their so called scoops, but… Dagblad van het Noorden wrote already at the end of 2008 that a new police investigation was coming up. Thanks to privat detective Robert van Hoove from Groningen, who is already working on this case since 1996.

    Gert,

Thank you very much for reading DCC and for taking the time to comment. I appreciate the information on “the Telegraaf.” It is difficult to assess a newspaper’s influence and quality when abroad so any information on those issues, is very much appreciated.

I was saddened to hear about the case through my contacts. Is it true that social services took her away from her grandparents? What was their reasoning? Is that decision going to be under investigation as well?

A huge THANK YOU should indeed go to PI Robert van Hoove! Thank you again for stopping by and feel free to provide us with more information on this case. I will gladly post that here.

    Sincerely, Vidocq

    Dear Robert,

Thank you very much for checking my website and for taking the time to comment. I appreciate the correction!

I salute you for your dedication to Willeke and the truth and sincerely hope, that one day we will learn the truth. I was saddened when Jacques told me that Willeke lived for a while with her grandparents but was removed from their loving home simply due to the grandmother’s age. Her pleas before judges were unsuccessful. Is that correct?

Again, thank you and please do visit us again. I wish you well, Vidocq

Hello, I want to tell this:
It is’nt important who is wright or wrong. Who has the real story in the newspaper. The only matter now is that Willeke Dost must be found and al those articles are helping! What is wright and what is wrong about the articles is a matter after Willeke is found. There are some people who have a good scenario. And also do their best and work hard. And I believe that they want 1 thing: solve the case!!!! And that is very important. Let us hope and pray that the police solve this case!
My English is not good, forgive me!

  6. Vidocq says:

Thanks for commenting and you are right: we all want this case solved! I hope that all the brainstorming will help to explore different scenarios and that police will succeed. That is one of the aims of DCC, we explore more than one scenario and brainstorm out loud here with readers about cases and explore “what if?” because there is always the possibility that…

Never worry about language here, the message comes across! Take care, Vidocq
